Future-proof products
From converting renewable energy into hydrogen to storing biomethane: we are harnessing the potential of gas storage and continuing to develop our products in line with the requirements of today and tomorrow.
Environment & Energy Efficiency
What do energy optimisation, the construction of a fire-fighting pond and the use of waste heat have in common? They all contribute to environmental protection and form part of our strategy.
Commitment
We feel equally committed to the people in our regions and to our environment. That is why we promote dialogue and scientific exchange at our sites and within their regional communities.
Our Strategy
Environmental measures are already firmly embedded in our corporate strategy. At the same time, we are continuing to develop our products, services and projects to meet the demands of a changing energy system.
As a company in the energy sector, we take environmental, economic and social aspects into account in our decision-making and are mindful of our responsibilities. We are committed to continuous improvement within the framework of our integrated management system. This is put to the test annually through internal and external audits and is certified by TÜV.
The SDGs
VNG Gasspeicher GmbH aligns itself with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The 17 goals provide companies, institutions and governments with a common framework for promoting sustainable development in environmental, social and economic areas. For us, the SDGs serve as a guide in the further development of our activities and in assessing issues relevant to our company. We also take EnBW’s ESG policies into account as a framework for shaping our sustainability activities.
