Report pursuant to the Whistleblower Protection Act
The Whistleblower Protection Act was introduced to provide adequate protection for individuals who report misconduct in the workplace or within companies. As a whistleblower, you play a crucial role in uncovering misconduct and contribute to promoting a transparent and ethical corporate culture.
We take the protection of whistleblowers seriously. Our company ensures that all reports are treated confidentially. We protect whistleblowers from possible reprisals and promote open communication that contributes to safeguarding our corporate values.
Here you have the opportunity to submit relevant information securely and, if necessary, anonymously:
The most important information on using the whistleblower system is summarised below:
- You can submit your reports personally or anonymously, i.e. without providing any personal information that could be used to identify you. However, it may be more effective to investigate a violation if you provide your contact details. Your identity will not be disclosed to anyone other than the person handling your report, their team and any relevant departments or authorities without your express consent (Exceptions may apply in particular in the case of official investigations or court proceedings).
- Only the persons handling the report will initially be informed of your report and will accompany the further essential steps of the investigation. Unauthorised employees have no access to your report. All information from your report will be treated as strictly confidential.
- When you submit a report, you can view the processing status of your report in your login area. The people handling your report can also use this login area to contact you confidentially if they have any questions. You can also provide further information at any time. You will receive the necessary login details after submitting your report. These login details (username and password) are generated automatically. Please make a note of this login information. This login area is of course also available to you if you submit your report anonymously. In this case, your anonymity will be preserved.
- The whistleblower system is used to receive reports of violations of laws, the Code of Conduct and the guidelines.
- Please only submit reports if you are certain that the facts you are reporting are true. Knowingly false statements or untrue facts must be avoided, as this may render the whistleblower liable to prosecution. In case of doubt, mark your report as a suspicion or statement made by a third party.
- Upon receipt of your report, you will receive a confirmation of receipt in your login area. Within a maximum of three months after receipt of the report, you will receive feedback from the report handler regarding the follow-up measures planned or already taken and the reasons for these follow-up measures (e.g. internal investigations or inquiries). If you have provided your email address, you will also be informed of the current processing status by email in your login area.
